I have been such a bad blogger. I really haven't kept up on my posts. I have been reading though. This first fill has finally kicked in. Is that weird that it has taken two weeks? When I first got the fill, it was no different than bandster hell. Although the weight started falling off faster. (I am not complaining) The past couple of days however, what I normally ate is now making me FULL. For lunch almost every day, I have a small dessert bowl of taco meat (about 3-4 ounces) with colby jack cheese on top that I place under the broiler in the toaster oven. I put salsa on top and eat. It tastes too good! Yesterday, it made me so full. I thought I was going to throw up when I got back to work. My BFF told me that I should. I told her I wasn't trading my regular food issues for bulemia!
I have an appointment next week for another fill. I don't feel that I am in the green zone yet. I get full, but that feeling goes away within the hour and I get hungry. Tell me if this feeling goes away when you are where you should be, I need to not be hungry!
On non-band related news, we finished replacing the wall in my son's room. I still need to paint it. My husband needs to make his new bed. We sold his bunk bed on Saturday. My older boy made it to the National Boy Scout Jamboree and is having the time of his life. I asked him when I spoke to him what his favorite part of this trip was so far... he responded "the anticipation of what is to come." My husband assures me that he will not be dissapointed. I looked at the things going on today and his favorite author will be speaking on one of the stages. I hope that he gets to go.
My youngest son, is in Texas with my parents. He really enjoys his time there. He went to a car show with my father over the weekend and to the shooting range. Our oldest son is starting his first house remodeling. We wish him luck and patience! I can't wait to see what he comes up with.
Well off to get ready for another wonderful day at the office! I would really be able to post more if it wasn't for the internet nazis at the office! Ta Ta for now!

Yes it's normal to feel hungry about an hour after eating! When I eat, I get SUPER FULL (like you did today!) and then an hour or two later I'm hungry again. This is normal!

I've been a bad blogger as well. Here's hoping you get to your green spot soon.
With my first two fills, I was hungry within two hours of lunch and a small snack helped. Same after dinner and a small snack around 8:30'ish in the evenings. With my most recent fill (middle of June), I'm not hungry for 4-5 hours and I'm eating even less than I was after the first two fills - usually getting in about 3 oz at a meal now. I am having to turn to sliders (like Greek yogurt) to get calorie counts up - as well as protein.
I've been a bad blogger, too - especially with comments. Turning it around slowly by surely...
Restriction is a strange thing for me - it ebbs and flows!!
So interesting! I like hearing about what folks' experiences are with the first fill. I get mine tomorrow, eep!
It sounds like it has hit a good spot for you, though. I hear lots of bandsters do need to fill in the gaps, hunger-wise, with small snacks. 2-3 hours is a long time to not be hungry, I think, even with the band.
